Hexagonal Cork Board

A scrap plyboard, a cork sheet, cutter, ruler, marker, and a piece of creativity.

Here is the finished product.

Materials that used on this project.

First is to design the project, I used AutoCad for measurement accuracy and photoshop for the colors and looks. This design was revised later on. Unfortunately I didn't saved the revised version.

I cut the plyboard as clean as possible and cut those hexagon-shaped cork sheets.


I tried to fit all the cut-outs if it looks good. And yeah, it looks cool!

Before a painted the plyboard, I grind first its corners. As you can see corners are smoother compare to the previous photos.

I glued those cork sheets into the painted plyboard.


Then, I add some accessories and writings on the board. And it is ready to be hang on the wall. Thank you for visiting!
